SAMEER was set up as an autonomous R & D laboratory at Mumbai under the then Department of Electronics, Government of India with a broad mandate to undertake R & D work in the areas of Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology.
It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the Tata Institute Of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. SAMEER, Mumbai was setup in 1984The centre of Electromagnetics, Chennai of the then Department of Electronics (DOE) was merged with SAMEER in 1987.SAMEER Kolkata centre was set up in 1994 for research & Development in Millimetrewave Technology.

Position:- Apprentice Trainees
Qualification:-
- ITI Pass in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Draftsman Mechanical, Electronics Mechanic, ICTSM/ITESM, Mechanic in Ref. and Air conditioning (MRAC), Computer and Programming Assistant (COPA) Trades
Age Limit:- 25 to 30 Years
SAMEER Recruitment Salary:-
- Computer and Programming Assistant (COPA): Rs.7,700/- pm
- For other trades: Rs. 8,050/- pm
Job Location:- Mumbai
Selection Process:- Interview
Documents Required :-
- 10th/12th Standard Mark List
- Qualifying Exam Passing Certificate
- Qualifying Exam Marksheets (for all years)
- Birth Date Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Birth Certificate)
- Passport Size Photograph – 2
- Caste Certificate (if any)
