Job Description :-
You are responsible for:
- General maintenance and upkeep of the R&D Hardware Lab, including interfacing with site facilities/maintenance team for ensuring upkeep of all facilities in the lab
- Ensuring the proper maintenance, upkeep and documentation for calibration status of all equipment and hand-tools in the lab
- Co-ordinate with external agencies to get the calibration of tools done on time, maintain proper records and trigger mechanism for calibration
- Support prototypes build and testing for mechanical and electrical subsystems, working along with design engineers
- Support the soldering activities involving through-hole and fine pitch electronics components, PCB & electronic cables
- Support tasks related to panel assembly/machine assembly and functional testing of systems
- Support test fixture development; planning and execution of HALT/HAST etc.
- Work with external agencies like UL, TUV and other test houses, for EMC/EMI Testing, Safety Testing, Environment Testing etc.
- Support the hardware testing and verification activities
- Drawing up personal schedule and reports on progress
- Being abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts
- Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with country specific regulations
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Diploma/ITI in electrical/electronics/mechanical with 10+ years of work experience related field
- Prior experience in maintaining R&D labs and supporting engineering teams
- Experience in conducting verification and experimental testing at component, subsystem and system level
- Experience in handling and working with Hardware Tools and Instruments like DMM, DSO, LCR Meter, DC Regulated Power Supply, Function Generator etc.
- Knowledge in accessing Windchill PDM/PLM tools, managing ECO/ECR, creating EBOM etc.
- Worked on PCBA Assembling, Board Testing, Soldering and Inspection
- Knowledge of Global Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE, CSA etc. will be an added advantage
- Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently with timely guidance
- Result oriented team player
- Excellent communication skills and Positive ‘can do’ attitude

Job Description :-
The Prime role of a Field Service Engineer is to achieve Customer delight by providing Timely and Quality service and in turn generate revenue for the organization.
The Responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer are categorized into the following functions:
Delivery:
- The FSE would ensure full compliance of Service Delivery Processes and deliver services both effectively and efficiently
- The FSE would conduct site surveys before taking over the Life Cycle Management of an installed machine
- Installation and Implementation of the respective system would be the prime responsibility of the Field Service Engineer
- The FSE would also provide Demonstration Support for the system in the region
- The position of a FSE would entail Commissioning and Handing-over of the respective systems projects
- FSE would participate in Corrective Maintenance and would also maintain and complete the PM Schedules within the stipulated time frame
- The FSE would implement FCO
Selling :
- As a FSE, Person would actively participate and support in CS Sales Promotion and achievement of overall CS Team Sales Targets
- FSE would coordinate the process of Spare parts Sales with the Customer
- Identifying opportunities for System Upgrades and promoting the same to the Customer would also fall within the job’s purview
- The FSE would provide Competition Information about the latest developments and the prevailing market condition to enable the organization to be competitive
Service Administration:
- The FSE would report all necessary information both technical and administration [Call Completion Call Reporting, PM, FCO, Installations] as per the norms
- The FSE would be responsible for proper handling of parts/ Test & Measuring Instruments to ensure return of all parts with proper documents
- The responsibility of collecting Customer Overdue Outstanding would lie with the FSE
Customer Satisfaction :
- FSE would also be responsible for timely escalation of certain issues to the concerned FSE and work as a team to provide appropriate
