Paradip Refinery is Indian Oil’s 11th Refinery. It was dedicated in the service of the nation by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on February 7th, 2016. Envisioned as the Energy Gateway to Eastern India, the 15 MMTPA grassroots refinery has been set up at an estimated cost of Rs. 34,555 crore.It is the most-modern refinery of the country, with a complexity factor of 10.7 based on Nelson Index. The refinery is configured to process high-sulphur crude oils with major secondary processing units such as Naphtha Hydrotreating Unit (NHT), Continuous Catalytic Reformer (CCRU), Diesel Hydro-treatment Unit (DHDT), VGO Hydrotreatment Unit (VGOHDT), INDMAX, Delayed Coking Unit (DCU), Alkylation unit, Merox, etc. Besides, Paradip Refinery is equipped with captive power plant to meet the power and steam requirement of the complex.

Qualification/ Experience :-
- Trade Apprentices: Matric with 02 years ITI in relevant trade.
- Technician Apprentices: 03 years Diploma in relevant Engineering Disciplines.
- Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): 03 years B.Sc. Degree in Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry.
- Trade Apprentice (DEO) (Fresher): Class XII (Matric with 12th class) Pass.
- Trade Apprentice (DEO) (Skill Certificate Holders): Class XII Pass with Skill Certificate holder in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’.
Age Limit :-
- Minimum 18 years and maximum age shall be 24 years as on 31.10.2021 for General/EWS candidates. Relaxation of upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates shall be extended as per Govt. guidelines.
- Marksheet/Certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation (Class X) Examination shall be the only acceptable document in support of age.
Salary :-
- Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines.

How to Apply :- Eligible Interested candidates can apply online for apprenticeship at Paradip Refinery by selecting “Paradip Refinery” from amongst the Refinery options. The last date for registration of online applications is 12//11/2021 up to 5:00 PM. The candidate should have scanned copy of colour photograph and signature in jpg format (size not exceeding 50 KB) ready before applying on-line. The photo and signature in digital form will be required to be uploaded.
