Job Description :-
Role Summary:
The role will carryout welding activities involved in the pump manufacturing process while adhering to all SHEA guidelines and company policies. The ideal candidate should be an ITI in Welding and Minimum 5 Years’ of experience in the welding industry with skills in both welding and fabrication (Especially worked in pipe welding)
- Must be skilled in SMAW, GTAW AND GMAW Welding process
- Able to operate manual and Semi-automatic welding machine
- Able to perform Tacking, Welding Grinding operation
- Able to understand Isometric drawing and welding symbols
- Must be able to work within a team-based environment to accomplish all aspect of welding and fabrication
- Able to follow written and oral instruction
- Able to read the Welding procedure qualification (WPS)
- Able to weld different material like Carbon Steel, Stainless steel and Duplex stainless steel
- Having enough knowledge on welding consumable and storage
- Having knowledge of welding are PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Able to perform the welding on 6G position in various diameter pipe (Dia ½” to 4”)
Responsibilities & Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Having firm knowledge on welding safety and OSHA requirement
- Must be able to work fast based on Production plan
- Able to work on Fabrication as well as in rework welding
- Communicates with respective supervisor or engineers regarding if there is any quality issue
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform the basic preventive maintenance
- Able to perform the other duties as assigned by management
Preferred Experience / Skills: KEY SKILL AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must be skilled Piping and Fabrication
- Able to perform Grinding and Gas cutting operation
- Able to operate EOT Crane
- Able to read Isometric drawing, GAD, PID & Weld symbols
- Able to operate pipe bending machine
- Able to do Fit up of Process piping, Testing spools & Structural Items (Dia ½” to 20”)

The Hydraulics engineering involves the application of the principles of fluid dynamics to the design and testing of centrifugal pumps. The hydraulic engineer ensures that the hydraulic components of the product are per internal standards and the customer specifications. Quality standards shall be maintained at an optimum level as well as correct materials to ensure fluid properties are compatible and proper machining can be performed in the construction of the product. The hydraulic engineer prepares and directs the preparation of hydraulic design documents such as impeller and volute layouts, performance maps and design calculations, mechanical stage layouts, and procurement drawings. Individuals in this role will develop and maintain proficiency and competency in hydraulic design and analysis, including standard analytical computations, 2D mechanical drafting, 3D modeling, and computational fluid dynamics.

Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-7 years of engineering experience in turbomachinery hydraulic engineering and design
- Knowledge and understanding of technical fundamentals of hydraulic engineering related to turbomachinery.
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
- Accountability and execution for completing work timely
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Knowledge of mechanical design including fluid dynamics, mechanics of materials, drawing and machining practices, and modern manufacturing techniques
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
Preferred Experience/Characteristics:
- Preferred experience with hydraulic design of large centrifugal pumps for the power, desalination, Oil and Gas, and chemical industries.
- Prefer skillset should include 2D and 3D drafting and modeling and CFD simulation experience.
Prefer experience in production environment including familiarity with drawing interpretation, GD&T, and component inspection processes
Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Through adherence to engineering standards and processes, this engineer will perform and supervise computer aided hydraulic design analysis using a variety of commercial and internally developed design tools
- Review existing hydraulic designs and performances for applications and assist with selection and preliminary design for high profile projects.
- Manages multiple projects involving complex designs, including oversight of support resources and seeking guidance from technical specialists
