- Four years Bachelor’s degree in (a) Civil Engineering or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. OR
- Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration, a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.

Selection Process :-
- The list of candidates shortlisted for Professional Personality test/interview will be intimated on given Mail Login ID ,Whatup Call letters will not be issued to the Shortlisted applicants to their correspondence address for the Professional Personality test/interview

- Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Level 2:
- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Ex-servicemen OR Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
- Note: Diploma in Engineering will not be considered as an alternative higher qualification
Level 1:
- 10th pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus ITI
Note:
- Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of two years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointment to this category will be provisional
