Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL), formerly Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) is a state-owned electricity regulation board operating within the state of Bihar in India. BSEB was established in 1958 as a statutory corporation under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948. As of November 2012, BSEB has nearly 1,700 officers and 14,850 employees.

Salary:-

• Assistant Executive Engineer: Rs 36800 – 58600/-
• Junior Electrical Engineer: Rs 25900- 48900/-
• Correspondence Clerk: Rs 9200 – 15500/-
• Store Assistant: Rs 9200 – 15500/-
• Junior Accounts Clerk: Rs 9200 – 15500/-
• Technician Grade III: Rs 9200 – 15500/-

Qualification:- 

Technician Grade III:

• Must have passed matriculation or its equivalent from recognized institution. and
• Technical Qualification: Must have 2 year ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade from any Institution recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training, New Delhi (NCVT) State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

Assistant Executive Engineer:

• Full-time four-year Engineering Degree B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical & Electronics from a recognized University! Institute

Junior Electrical Engineer:

• Full-time three-year Diploma in Electrical from a recognized Institute/ College duly recognized by State Govt./ Central Govt. approved by AICTE.

Correspondence Clerk/Store Assistant:

• Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University.

Junior Accounts Clerk:

• Graduate in commerce from a recognized university.

Selection Process:-

• The selection process will be based on Computer-based tests and document verifications.
• CBT will be conducted for the candidates who applied online for the job posts.
• A combined merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by the candidates in CBT (computer-based test), and shortlisted candidates will be called for documents/certificate verification.
