BARC is one of the leading units of DAE which is having different groups inside. And these groups are further divided with their divisions. Medical Group is one of the group in BARC and Which is having two divisions namely Medical Division and Radiation Medicine Center.

BARC Hospital is 390 bedded multispecialty centre at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai – 94. The hospital is accredited by the National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi for DNB (Diplomate of National Board) program.

Salary:-

• Technical Officer/C : Rs. 56,100/- pm
• Scientific Assistant/B : Rs. 35,400/- pm
• Technician/B : Rs. 21,700/- pm
• Stipendiary Trainee Category – I : Rs. 24,000/- pm
• Stipendiary Trainee Category – II : Rs. 20,000/- pm

Qualification:-

Technical Officer/C :

• Sc in Bio-Science, Life Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics OR
• BE/B.Tech in Architecture, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Computer Engg., Computer Science & Engg., Mechanical, Drilling, Electrical, EEE, Electronics, Electronics & Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Controls, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Metallurgy & Materials, Metallurgical & Materials, Materials, Metallurgical, Mining

Scientific Assistant/B :

• Sc in Food Technology, Home Science, Nutrition

Technician/B :

• SSC + Second Class Boiler Attendant’s Certificate

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I :

• Diploma in Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, E&T, E&C, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Architecture, Civil, Automobile, Industrial Safety OR
• Sc Pass in Relevant Discipline

Stipendiary Trainee Category – II :

• ITI in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Welder, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, RAC, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Draughtsman (Civil), Mason, Plumber, Carpenter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic OR
• HSC with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (for the posts of Laboratory, Plant Operator) OR
• HSC (Science) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate Plus 2 years Diploma recognized by Dental Council of India. (for the posts of Dental Technician – Hygienist, Mechanic)
